Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a **Physical Security Specialist** **(Level 2/3)** for a Physical Security and Lock and Key position **.** This position is located in **Roy, UT** and supports the Strategic Deterrent System (SDS) Division. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80A. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

**You’ll Bring These Qualifications:**

**Physical Security Specialist:** Bachelor's degree and 2 years of related experience; or a Master's degree and 0 years of experience; or 4 years of additional experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree

**Principal Physical Security Specialist:** Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience; or Master's degree and 3 years of experience; or PhD with 1 year of experience; or an additional 4 years of experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree

**Required for Both Levels:**

+ Must have US Citizenship with an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance

+ Must have an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs

+ Must have GSA Certification or must be able to obtain within 6 months

+ Must have ICD 705 Training or must be able to obtain within 6 months

+ Experience with Computer and desktop Microsoft office software products

**These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:**

+ Active U.S. Government Top Secret clearance.

+ Self-starter with minimal supervision.

+ Familiarity with 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM) and DoD 5205.07 manuals.

+ Ability to excel in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.

+ Familiarity with Security Information Management System (SIMs).

+ Meticulous record-keeping and responsible for accurate data input into multiple databases/spreadsheets.

+ Excellent communication skills, speaking, writing skills, and organizational skills enabling effective communications.

Salary Range: $63,800.00 - $95,800.00Salary Range 2: $78,700.00 - $118,100.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
