**Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Manager, Programs 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Triton Sustainment organization.**
This leadership role will be based at our **Rancho Bernardo, CA** office. The position will also require travel as required by the program.
This role will support and work directly with the customer operations in a variety of locations. This may include all aspects of standing up new operating locations, sustaining operations and providing timely, knowledge-based operation support.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Supports borrow/paybacks, direct material support and goods movement support are required
+ Direct support to UAS upgrade planning and site execution preparations
+ Support reviews of current and future Statements of Work (SOW) and site Ground Operations Procedures (GOP)
+ Scheduling activities, working directly with the customer, while building and maintaining strong relationships is also a requirement
+ Prepares, develops and coordinates the integration plans and integrated schedules to meet all sustainment objectives
+ Ensures major projects and program schedules and plans are horizontally and vertically integrated across company functional groups
+ Tracks plans and schedules, performs risk analysis, identifies and resolves critical path and network logic conflicts

**Basic Qualifications**
+ Bachelors degree and 10 years (or Bachelor of Science in STEM and 9 years) of related experience as defined below, OR a Master’s degree and 8 years (or Master of Science in STEM and 7 years) of related experience as defined below
+ Related experience includes professional and/or military experience to include a background in project management, program management, engineering, product support, capture efforts, and/or business management related functions
+ At least 3 years of experience directly leading the performance of a team and/or leading an Integrated Product Team (IPT)
+ Active DoD Secret or higher clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled in continuous evaluation)
+ Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance level
+ Willing and able to travel internationally
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Active DoD Top Secret Clearance
+ Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing environments, while maintaining consistently high customer relations, service and engagement
+ Experience within the Aerospace and Defense industry
+ Experience in logistics, product support and parts movement
+ Basic understanding of Non-Destructive Inspections (NDI)
+ Strong written, verbal and presentation skills with proven ability to develop and maintain strong internal/external customer relationships
+ The ability to apply knowledge, insights and understanding of business and financial concepts, tools and processes to the benefit of program decisions, actions, and performance
+ The ability to identify and address program impacts through a systematic, proactive approach to issue and problem resolution that identifies, communicates, monitors, and promptly resolves conflicts
+ The ability to address program uncertainty through an organized and analytical forward-looking approach that identifies risks and opportunities, determines appropriate handling plans, and manages, controls, and communicates risks and opportunities
+ Valid Passport
Salary Range: $156,500.00 - $234,700.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
