**About this role:**
The Firewall Coordinator is responsible for managing and maintaining the organization’s firewall infrastructure to ensure secure and efficient network operations. This role involves coordinating with design and implementation engineers firewall rule changes, monitoring firewall performance, and supporting compliance with security policies and standards.
**In this role, you will:**
+ Participate in the coordination, installation, support and maintenance of Firewall network infrastructure
+ Provide technical support to end users regarding hardware and application issues
+ Drive initiatives that support network services including but not limited to switches, routers, firewalls, wireless networks and network security
+ Develop and follow best practices and operational procedures
+ Maintain documentation and comply with service administrative procedures, including change management and ticket updates
+ Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
+ Interact with internal customers
+ Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
**Required Qualifications:**
+ 2+ years of Network Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
+ 1 + years of experience in Firewall Installations
+ 1 + years of experience with SharePoint and Excel tools
**Desired Qualifications:**
+ Strong organization skills
+ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced technical environment
+ Driving team deliverables and execution while coordinating efforts with external teams
+ Understanding of data reporting through Confluence/Sharepoint
+ Ability to self-manage
